Security & Discipline Guidelines — Vulcanzy 2026
In view of Vulcanzy 2026, the following guidelines are issued for strict compliance by all students.
1. Closure of West Gate
- Chatrapati Shivaji West Gate will remain closed from 11.03.2026 to 14.03.2026 and will not be operational during this period.
2. Bag Checking at Gates
- Bag checking will be conducted at both campus gates starting from 02.03.2026 and will continue until the completion of the fest.
- All students must cooperate with the security personnel during inspection.
3. Vehicle Parking
- All vehicles must be parked only in the designated parking areas.
- Vehicles found parked elsewhere will be seized without prior notice.
- This applies especially to outside students who have taken accommodation.
4. No Student Vehicles Inside Campus
- No student vehicles will be allowed inside the campus during the fest period.
5. Outing Restrictions
- Local and non-local outings will not be permitted from 10.03.2026 to 14.03.2026.
- In case of extreme emergency, outing permission will be granted only by the Chief Warden.
- Students having examinations or other important work must fill out the Google Form circulated for non-local outing requests.
- Proper supporting proof must be attached.
- The form must be submitted on or before 07.03.2026.
- Requests without proof or submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
6. Code of Conduct
- Any form of quarrel, fight, argument, provocation, or misbehavior with students (including students from other colleges), faculty, staff, or security personnel is strictly prohibited.
- Such acts will attract serious disciplinary action.
- The concerned students will be held personally responsible, and strict action including suspension and legal consequences may be imposed.
7. Respect Towards Girl Students
- Any kind of misbehavior towards girl students is strictly prohibited and will lead to strict disciplinary action.
8. Return to Hostels
- Students must return to their respective hostels immediately after the conclusion of programs at night.
9. Prohibited Substances
- Liquor, cigarettes, tobacco, drugs, and any other intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited inside the campus.
- Security supervisors will conduct regular rounds across the campus with alcohol detection devices.
- If any student is found suspicious, checking will be conducted.
- If found violating the rules, strict disciplinary and legal action will be taken.
10. ID Card Verification
- Students must carry their ID cards at all times and present them to the security team whenever asked.
- Refusal to cooperate during verification will attract disciplinary action.
11. Faculty & Staff Vehicle Advisory
- Faculty and non-teaching staff are strictly advised not to lend their vehicles to students during the fest period.
12. General Discipline
- All students are requested to maintain discipline and extend full cooperation to the security staff to ensure the safe and successful conduct of Vulcanzy 2026.
